Frequent Rodeo Questions

Do I need to purchase a ticket to attend the Blue Boot Rodeo?

No. This is a free event but purchasing a fishing ticket gets you the following:

Free plate lunch
Free Life Jacket for kids 12 and under
An entry for our grand prize on Saturday July, 13th.

What kind of activities are there for the kids?

Besides the fishing, we have a number of activities for the kids. Here are just a few:

Kids Zone - There is an entire section of the rodeo that is dedicated to the kids. This section is full of inflatables and other activities. It is open the entire time the pavilion is open.
Drowning Prevention Session - Each year we spend a little time and do an interactive class to teach the kids about the dangers of childhood drowning and how they can take measures to ensure their safety.
Riley's Treasure Chest - This is a cool place where kids can purchase all kinds of fund toys and gadgets.
DJ's, Bands, and lots of dancing for everyone!

Will the event still happen if it's raining?

Absolutely! Although we always pray for great weather, sometimes mother nature has other plans. The good news is that all the fun and exciting stuff happens under the pavilion so you have nothing to worry about!

Do I have to be present to win the Grand Prize?

Absolutely not! Just buying a Rodeo Tickets automatically gets you into the drawing for the Grand Prize. If you are not there to receive it we will contact you right after the drawing and post it on social media so make sure you stay by your phones!

Do you serve food and drinks at the rodeo?

Of course! We wouldn't be family friendly if we didn't! We have all types of food, candy, and both soft drinks and wonderful selection of alcohol for our family of attendees.
